I have multiple sites on my account with similar names and I changed the name of the wrong one, now the URL is unavailable. Is there any way I can get it back?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

When you changed the name of your site, it was very clearly stated there was no way back once you changed the name of your site. You even had to confirm this.

    Hello!

After changing the URL of the site, the old URL becomes unavailable.

In your case, the old URL was: https://meganvabaker.wordpress.com, and the new one is https://mvabstuff.wordpress.com.

If you like, you can upgrade your site to any paid plan, where you can use a custom domain instead of the free WordPress.com URL, https://mvabstuff.wordpress.com.

    (e.g., example.com instead of example.wordpress.com)

You can learn more about using a domain as a primary site address here:

    WP
Domains » Set a Primary Address

Your primary site address is the domain that people will see in their browser’s address bar when they visit your site. It is the address you use to promote your website. With a WordPress.com plan, you can set a custom domain as the primary site address. Without a paid plan, all custom domain(s) on the site will automatically redirect to your free .wordpress.com or .wpcomstaging.com site address

Speaking of the plans — if you’re not looking into any specific features, I suggest the Personal plan:

⭐️ With annual plans, you can claim a free domain name (free for the first year) and use it with your site 😊

You can compare the features of our plans by navigating to https://wordpress.com/pricing and by clicking on the “Compare plans” button (below the pricing table).
