  Hi, last week I changed my blog from ‘Elodrie’ into ‘LiefsElo’. Now I regret it. I really want to have Elodrie back. But although elodrie.wordpress.com says ‘the authors have deleted this site’, I can’t choose this account again, because I deleted it. Is there a way to have elodrie.wordpress.com back as my URL?

  Hello Elodie,

  Unfortunately, once a website is deleted you cannot retrieve its URL address, which means that the action can’t be undone nor you can’t re-use the URL related to the deleted site.

  There are a few exceptions which fall into the recycling URL site address. Your case might be one of these to me, however you’d need to speak with someone from the Staff.

  I’m afraid you will need to choose another address/URL for your website, that would be the most painless (and quickest) solution for you.
  I hope you’ll find a name that works out well for you. All the best!
