Today I registered a WP account with a xxx.wordpress.com URL. I then upgraded to xxx.com. I cannot find where the new xxx.com URL is? It seems to default to the WP URL. How to toggle between the 2. Or how to make the xxx.com primary? Many thanks

If you have paid WordPress.com plan, you can set your new domain as primary by following these instructions:

I do not have a paid account. I bought the .com 10 minutes after registering. How do I get the .com as primary account? thank you

All WordPress.com sites require a paid plan in order to display a custom domain (i.e. yourgroovysite.com) instead of the standard ______.wordpress.com domain (i.e. yourgroovysite.WordPress.com).

If you do purchase a hosting plan from us, the first year of domain registration is included free. So we would refund the $18 you paid to register the domain initially.
The domain you have registered can be used to point to your ______.wordpress.com domain, or it can be pointed elsewhere on the internet using these instructions:
