URLs as text, resulting in links

    Why now, all the text in my blog, that looks like a link, is been automatically converted into an active link by WordPress.

    You can see, in an entry I write:

    http://www.google.com

    http://www.google.com

    http://www.google.com

    google.com

    The first results in a link, with the addition by WordPress of the http:// even when I didnt wrote it.
    The second gets linked also, even when I use Quote
    The 3rd I use “Preformated” and it’s not link, but if the URL is too long, then it wont do a breakline.
    The 4th isn’t the best, but at least its not getting linked by WordPress by theyown.

    Is there any way to turn off this behavior?
