Usar mi dominio de WIX

    Hi I am new at WordPress, i intend to buy the premium plan, but first i would like yo build the site with some free themes. The thins is right now y work in Wix and I have a domain, I ant to use that domain here. What are the steps to follow? Should I cancel first my other sucription and domain? I’ll wait for your comments, thanks!

    Hi @trendymagazineleon, you probably won’t want to cancel your domain since domains aren’t released right away. Here’s what I would do though:

    – Create the site (we have some great steps here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/start/ )

    – Get in touch with Wix to find out how to point the domain here. You will need to use our name servers:

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM ,
    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM , and
    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

    – And once that’s done, buy a plan and domain mapping through us at https://wordpress.com/domains

    Let us know if you need more help! You can also buy a plan sooner if you want to get in touch with support directly — just don’t map the domain until you’ve updated the settings at Wix.
