use a current domain name

    Good day,

i am trying to revamp an old page, http://www.bravoedu.com. It was created in the past, it has no current relevance and i am happy to scrap it and start anew, just with the same domain name.

Since i am a beginner at creating sites and the general rules thereof, i need to know if my new wordpress page, once i pay, will:

    1. Overlap the pre-existing page
    2. Stop me from paying the 30 dollars currently paid for the old domain name

If that is not the case or there are some elements i am not aware of, please instruct me in that sense.

    Thank you

    Alexander

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Is there a reason you do not wish to just use the existing account?

To me, that seems like the easiest option here. Just renovate and refresh your current site. If you are concerned about who has access, resetting the password is a good start. It would also be worthwhile to review the profile info to make sure notifications go to the correct address and that sort of thing.

To stop paying the 30$ for the old domain you would need to access the account and cancel it. (Link to cancel domain purchased through WordPress.com)

    Hi Alexander,

i am trying to revamp an old page, http://www.bravoedu.com.

The domain is registered through Crazy Domains and it is pointing to a site that appears to be hosted by UberGlobal Pty. bravoedu.com isn’t a WordPress.com site so you will need to speak to your hosting company about making changes.

i am happy to scrap it and start anew, just with the same domain name.

You purchased a plan which includes domain mapping for bravoedu.com — but the domain is currently pointing away from WordPress.com. Do you want to map the domain to bravoedudotcom.wordpress.com and use it for your new site?

Once I know what your plans are, I can point you in the right direction.
