    I want to use a domain i have already for my wordpress site. Am I able to do this for free or do I need to pay for a plan?

    A paid plan is required to use your domain hosted elsewhere with your WordPress.com site. I would recommend our base plan, The Personal Plan. In addition to connecting your domain, it provides no ads, additional media library space, email support, and more:

    When setting up the domain connection, you’ll need to change the domain nameservers at your domain host, and point them over to WordPress.com. Our nameservers are:

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

    i have 2 sites and one site has You have US$44.00 of pro-rated credits available from your current plan. Apply those credits towards an upgrade before they expire!

    I want to use these credits for my other site.

    how do I get the credits to apply to the other site?

    Hi @atomichypnosis, that message means you can upgrade your site again without losing what you’ve already paid. For example, if you paid $120, then wanted to upgrade to a $300 plan two months later, you would only pay $200 for it.

    If you want to have two different paid sites, you will want to go ahead and pick up another plan.

    Or, we can move the paid plan to the other site for you if you’d like. The current site would be downgraded to free. Is that what you have in mind?
