Use a theme I uploaded?

I uploaded the theme Albar, and I would really like to use it, but I cannot find where I can activate it. I am brand new to this, and I am trying to create a website for my small business. I am using a host site, DreamHost, but I cannot find where I can use the Albar theme I downloaded. Also, I am having a hard time finding out how to transfer my wordpress site to the DreamHost, I already have my own domain and everything. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated, I am totally lost!

You are referring to using wordpress.org and not wordpress.com they can help you sort it out at their forums. (you may need to create a .org account name first..)

It doesn’t look like you added any posts or pages to luckyequine.wordpress.com so I don’t see any content you’d need to transfer to your new site hosted at Dreamhost.
You can to log into your site over on your Dreamhost account to be able to manage your site, upload your theme, and start posting content. If you’re not sure where to do that, I’d suggest you check the information you received from Dreamhost when you set up your account or contact Dreamhost support for assistance – they should be able to help you get started.
