Use a URL that was previously used

  Hello, I want to use a url “……”.wordpress.com that was once used before but the author deleted it. So its not in use anymore. When I tried to register the name, it said this name was taken. Is it possible to use the url at some point since it is not being used anymore.? Thanks….

  However, that being said you can purchase domain mapping and then what the underlying root blog .wordpress.com sub-domain is being mapped from to the domain is irrelevant.
