Use an image for Blog Title?
-
Now replace what you have in the text widget with this.

After saving, force refresh your main page to see it. You need to view things while logged in and logged out. Right now when logged in, the logo will be right at the lower edge of the admin bar and there will be a big gap between the bottom of the logo and the top of the grey content area. When logged out, that gap will be less and there will be white space above the logo.
Second thing you need to do is the widen and narrow your browser window to see the effect. The logo will slide left or right as you narrow and widen the browser window. I’ve minimized this by using a percentage for the “left” position value, but this cannot be eliminated.
That is what you will have to live with without the Custom Design Upgrade.

Oh yeah, and you will have to go to settings > general and delete your tagline which is now partially covered by the logo.

Hey, thanks! There it is now on the top.
Yeah, this would have to work for now until I decide to go for the Custom Design Upgrade.I’ll probably do a little tweaking, but thank you very much! :)
