Use an inactive WordPress URL

  I’d like to start a new WordPress at findingmyhappy.wordpress.com. This URL is already taken but it only has one post from January 2009. Is there any way this URL can be released so I can use it?

  Contact the blogger and see if you can convince them to transfer the blog to you – you are on your own to find contact info – WordPress.COM will not help you contact the blogger – also they will not take the blog away from someone for you
