  I want to use my own DNS server to point my domain to wordpress. What IP addresses or hostnames should I set for my A or CNAME records?

  The best way to map a domain to a WordPress.com site is to set your domain’s name servers to the following:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  However, if you must use A records, note that our IPs change over time. Because of this, your domain might stop working at some point in the future. If that happens, get in touch with us to find out the most current IPs and then update your A records.

  If you still want to map your domain using A records, please be sure to create two records using these IP addresses:

  192.0.78.25
  192.0.78.24
