Use domain name with free account

  I have a couple of old domain names with other providers. Is there any way to use them with a free wordpress blog or do I need to buy a subscription?

  Hi there! To use your domains here at WordPress.com, you do need to have one of our paid plans in order to map the domain to your WordPress.com site. You can compare the different plan options here:

  https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  With a paid plan, however, there’s no additional fee to map more than one domain to a single WordPress.com site. If you want to map each domain to its own WordPress.com site, each site would need a paid plan.
