Use dreamweaver to upload for a self-hosted / free wordpress blog?
-
Good evening, I have a self hosted blog, but a free account. Can I still edit my blog’s look, such as add code for stumble badges etcetera?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you are talking about this site, http://mybotanova.wordpress.com/ , then no you cannot. We cannot edit and we cannot upload or add themes here at wordpress.com. We are limited to the 150+themes listed in the dashboard at appearance > themes.
With the Custom Design Upgrade, you can edit the CSS for the themes here, but I would not suggest using Dreamweaver to do that. It is sort of like using a chainsaw to fillet a salmon.
On a self-hosted site, you can do whatever you want, but do be aware that wordpress themes have to be written in PHP script, not HTML (although there is HTML in with the PHP script). Also you need to have a really good grip on PHP scripting so that you don’t inadvertently open up a huge security hole for the less than honorable netizens to exploit.

Besides, you can add all those badges here to the end of each post and page using the sharing functions here, and for self-hosted wordpress installations, there are already tons of plugins to add that sort of stuff.
