Use GoDaddy Domain for wordpress site

We recently purchased a domain that is stored with all of our company’s domains on GoDaddy. We want to use this domain for our WordPress site but do not want it transferred out of GoDaddy. Is there a way to do this?

Yes! You can use a domain registered with another party. You will still need to upgrade to a paid subscription in order to use the domain, but whether it is registered with WordPress.com or another service doesn’t matter.
