Use Https
-
I enabled https, and then my rearders began getting security warnings when using the link I posted on Facebook. I had to disable https and repost to Facebook. What is this?
I looked at your information about enabling the certificate, as a Chrome user, but it says it is for Mac…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi, this warning message may be occurring if you are posting links to Facebook that start with “https://…” (not the ‘s’).
When you enable https (or SSL) that is only enabled for you when you are logged in to your administration pages. In this case, when you are viewing your own blog the links will be shown to you as starting with “https://…” but when posting to other people you should change them to “http://…”.
You can read more about https/SSL support here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
To make the whole process of sharing your posts on Facebook (or other social networks) without having to worry about this I’d recommend considering setting up our Publicize feature which does this automatically for you! You can read about this here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/
Hope this helps :-)

Hi Richard
thanks for the prompt reply. Well… apparently the automatic changeover to http didn’t work; I had to remove the Https function; log out and back in and repost…
I will look into publicize. Thanks :)
Cheers
