use new template on wordpress.com

  Hi there, I really need support in getting the new template that I bought to work on my new bought domain address. I have purchased the domain with wordpress.com but I think in order for me to use the template I bought, I would have to go to wordpress.org? I am not to sure how to do this. Please help!

  First you will need to find a web hosting service. Here is some information on recommended hosts. Then you will need to install the WordPress.org software on that service. There is tons of information here:

  Lost a line there. The last link is to the WordPress.org forums; there are lots of helpful people there. (You’ll need a separate account than your WordPress.com one.)

  Thanks so much. I already have a domain through wordpress.com though, would that still work on .org?

  Hi Jeff, I deleted my domain from wordpress.com and was wanting to get it back through wordpress.org. But now I am not able to get the domain back. I thought .com and .org are the same company and I didn’t know that I wouldn’t be able to get it back after since it’s the same company. Please help as this name means a lot to me. Thanks in advance!
