Use of addendum to a URL link

  • Unknown's avatar

I use Private Content plugin on Elementor on WordPress at Bluehost. The plugin wants to do this in a link ‘ PC says ‘Then it’s indeed some routing rule of your website (or any extra security plugin) rejecting any extra parameter appended to your website URLs.
Even the logout button appends an ‘anti-cache’ parameter that is removed as soon as page loads.

Unfortunately is not easy to track the culprit.
I know the reason, but I should (at least) take a look at your WP backend to know more.

Not sure of a backend but can WordPress help resolve issue or point me to someone who can help? Thanks

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Unknown

  • Hi there,

We can’t help directly because we don’t host parkplacefw.com on our WordPress.com managed hosting. As a result, we can’t take a closer look at your site.

Instead your host uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform (sometimes called “WordPress.org”) which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com.

The good news is that help is available here at the open-source WordPress forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/

The folks in that forum are more familiar with these kinds of issues and are in the best position to help. Thanks!
