    To begin, what domain are you trying to use and for which of your sites here at WordPress.com? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.

    Of note, while you can connect a domain without a plan, to have your domain be your primary domain, you need a paid plan. Otherwise, your domain will redirect to your free *.wordpress.com URL.
