Use of .gif animation in header image?

  Can an animated .gif image be used as a header? I’m not talking about anything wild, just a change of wording about the topics covered in the blog. Perhaps two alterations of one primary image. Dave

  Yes, just make sure that the image is the exact size require for your theme before you upload it. If wordpress crops it, it will no longer be animated.
