Use of plugins, when WordPress is the Host ?
-
Hi there,
I want my website to create two sub-pages – each with a form. The one form shall be for registration for an event, the other for payment via paypal. But WordPress is the host of my website, and thus I can not download and use plugins.
Is there another (simple) way menage my situation and create the two forms?
regarding programming with HTML I am not really good.
Thanks in advance !
:-)The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can use the Contact form and customize it with additional fields for registration and you can add a PayPal button to your site. See here:

Raincoaster I think links to an outside registration site for her Blog classes – can’t remember for sure which one

Not sure what rain uses, Mike. All I can find is the paypal button on her workshops page.
We can also use Wufoo http://en.support.wordpress.com/wufoo/

Morning Morning to you Jennifer – I went and looked also after I posted here and also could just find the PayPal button –
I keep thinking that someone used a link to some ticket / event site –
Take care

Could it be Eventbrite? :)

I wanted to say Eventbrite – but I think that is a new theme and seems to me this was before that theme came out, so did not want to guess

Thanks, justjennifer and auxclass, you are helping me great.
Marry Christmas by the way :-) -

Actually I want to make the both pages look like these:
http://www.unionvegetariana.org/veganfest/ivfbook.html
http://www.unionvegetariana.org/veganfest/ivfpp.htmlSo I hope with the Contact form and an added a PayPal it`g gona work (?)

You should be able to do both here.
Just be aware that the contact form here is a simple one, meaning it does not generate a database of the information that a visitor enters into the form, but rather an email/feedback to you.
If you need something more sophisticated, I suggest looking at Wufoo and/or Eventbrite for registration (or whatever we had before, if we can remember what it was. :) )
