Use Own picture in header?

  I am new to WordPress. I want to select a template like twenty ten and substitute my own picture. That won’t work in twenty ten, though if I filter my template search for ‘flexible header’, twenty ten shows up. How can I find a basic template that allows me to use my own picture in the header?

  Sure it will work in Twenty Ten. Go to Dashboard->Appearance->Custom Header and upload it there. Note that it can’t be bmp format or any other format banned here. If it is, convert it to PNG first.

  Thank you. And thanks for not flaming on a newbie. The answer was pretty obvious. Given WordPress’ weak-ish documentation, I guess I have to just go over each item on each page in detail.
