Use Passwords for Parent and Child Pages or make private

  If I password protect a parent page will all child pages also be password protected? Or does each page need to have a password as well?

  If I make a page private, do limits for private users still apply if a person is only to particular pages? I was just wondering. Thanks.

  I did a simple test and a password on the parent page will only apply to that page, not the “children”.

  If you are asking whether on a private blog, guests can view pages marked “Private”, the answer is no: http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-visibility/

  I was wondering if on a public blog if I make a page private the user limits apply. This may be a crazy question.
