Use retired theme

Hi all! I am writing to you about a usage of an old theme. Is it possible to use Aperitive theme again? It was my former blogs theme http://www.ubulvilaga.com but that time I couldn’t pay the premium subscription. Now I’d like to re-open it again with the same look. Thanks a lot.

Hi, that theme has been retired, and it is no longer possible to use it.
We retire themes because they’re not fully compatible with the latest versions of WordPress and the latest web technologies.
You can browse our Theme Showcase and select a modern theme that fully supports the Block Editor and the newly introduced Site Editor.

Isn’t there any chance to use it again? I was totally satisfied it and it fully fitted to my content.

The theme is still available from the 3rd party theme developer directly here: https://themeskingdom.com/premium/aperitive-wordpress-theme/
It is not possible to upload 3rd party themes on WordPress.com without first upgrading to our Business Plan, but if you were to upgrade then you would be able to use this theme without issue. To clarify, our Business sites are on different hosting (with different resources) than our free sites, so they would be able to use this theme even though we have retired it within our theme directory.
