Use second domain to be my blog page
-
Hi team,
I wanted to ask something that I think most probably it is not possible, but I’ll ask it anyway:
I have a primary domain (onironautasweb.agency), and a second domain (onironautaswebagency.blog), in a Personal plan. Can I set the second domain to be the blog page? So, instead of creating this page: onironautasweb.agency/blog, I would have the second domain being the blog page.
Right now the second domain only redirects to the main domain, which is the normal behavior, but I wanted to know if there is a way to change this, and set it to be an independent page?
Thanks for any help you can provide!

Hi there,
To answer your question, yes, there’s a way to do what you’re aiming for. Here are the two options.
- Domain Forwarding. If you’d like to keep things simple and just want the
onironautaswebagency.blogdomain to point to the blog page of your primary domain, you can set up domain forwarding. This will mean when someone visitsonironautaswebagency.blog, they’ll be automatically redirected toonironautasweb.agency/blog. You can configure domain forwarding by following the instructions in this guide: https://wordpress.com/support/domain-forwarding/ - Two Distinct Sites. If you wish to have a separate dedicated blog with the domain
onironautaswebagency.blog, you’ll need to create a new WordPress.com site. Once you’ve set up the new site, you’ll need to upgrade to a plan and then transfer theonironautaswebagency.blogdomain to that site. This way, you’d have two distinct sites – one for your primary website and another dedicated entirely for your blog.
In the second scenario, you’ll be managing content separately for both domains, which can be ideal if you want a more unique and standalone feel for your blog.
Whichever option you choose, the process is quite straightforward, and I’m here to assist if you need further guidance.

Hello there,
Thank you for the explanation.
I was thinking more about the second option, but for now, I’ll stick with the first.
Thanks again!
