Use Twitter to promote site

    Okay, I finally joined the Twitter bandwagon and opened up a Twitter account. Here is why. I would like to use it to help promote my site. I know that any new posts I make will be sent to my Twitter account; however does this include any groups I’m following? Or, am I simply hitting a brick wall?

    Yes, I am aware that Twitter is meant to be a way to chat with various people in different groups. Right now, I am looking for a couple of groups. Do only those following me, get to see any blog update? I’m getting the definite sense that it’s this way rather than those I’m following.
