Use Twitter Widget for Lists

  Dear Sir/Madam,

  WE used to be able to use the Twitter widget for list timelines, not just a single account. I’d like to create a widget for a list of favorite Twitter accounts I follow and embed the list into my blog. Twitter has changed the way we create widgets. How do I now do this on Twitter?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I found a workaround for twitter list widgets;

  1. On Twitter, go to Settings.
  2. Click on Widgets
  3. Click on “Create New” and select “Search” from the dropdown
  4. In the “Search Query” write “list:@yourusername/your-list-name
  5. On preview, grab the Widget ID from the address bar and add to the Twitter Timeline widget in your WordPress.com site in the space for Widget ID. Click Save
  6. Click “Save Changes” on Twitter to save your Twitter Widget.

  This worked for me.
