Why does Jetpack keep telling me I need to connect?

  I deleted Jetpack from my computer. Why does it keep showing up on my desktop saying I need to connect?

  Hi there,

  Are you receiving a message on your site’s Dashboard that you need to connect Jetpack?

  If so, can you try going to your Dashboard > Plugins > Installed Plugins and make sure Jetpack is “Deactivated”?
