Use WordPress theme on Go Daddy

Hello,
I have purchased a Word Press theme through Theme Forest and would like to use that to create a website that is hosted on Go Daddy (I already have a hosting account and a domain name for the site through Go Daddy). The WordPress application is installed on Go Daddy. But I am not sure what I need to do now. Do I move the theme files over to WordPress? If so, how? Right now, I only have a free plan, so do I need to upgrade in order to do all of this? And given that I already have the domain name (ilwaterresources.org) how does that interact with needing to upgrade. I apologize for such general questions. I am very new to this and am not familiar with the terminology or process.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the right WordPress forum to help with that problem on ilwaterresources.org. You appear to have a self-hosted site using the WordPress.org software, but this forum is for blogs hosted here on WordPress.com.
The two versions are different and have separate forums. Please post your question at the WordPress.org forum: https://wordpress.org/support/, there are volunteers there who can help you get started with your WordPress website :)
If you don’t have a username at that forum, you’ll need to register before posting.
