Used new theme; got locked out

Well, not locked out my admin site does not open anymore.

My website is http://ahmedumair.com and I recently updated the theme. It’s a PWT theme called Honma (the free version). The moment that theme was installed and whatnot, I’ve lost access to the admin side of my website. Every time I sign in, the browser tells me that the http://ahmedumair.com/wp-admin/ page is not working. I’ve tried it on Chrome, Firefox and Edge and although I had to wait three days to see what happened on Edge but it’s the same result.

What are my options here? Is there a way to undo the theme install or revert back to the pre-install stage? Or is it something I should talk to my webhost about?

I used to be a blogger and pretty handy with this kinda stuff but it’s been years since I’ve played around with WP or been anywhere near a blog. Recently, I just thought I’d restart my personal blog where I can rant about random stuff and decided to change the appearance which has seriously back-fired. Any help will be highly appreciated.

  • Hi @unitedstatesofumairica!

It looks like you’re running a self hosted WordPress site, which is a little different from the WordPress.com hosted sites this theme is geared towards.

For your setup, it would be best to post either to the self hosted community forum at http://WordPress.org/support

Or contact your theme developer for assistance:
