Used P tags to skip lines, but this time it did not work

  I tried to get blank lines between the author’s name and the first line of the article. In the HTML mode, I typed the p tag on three lines, wanting to skip three lines.

  Why did those not lines not stay blank?

  I think I figured it out myself. I selected the entire text/article and then hit Format>Paragraph. The I hit the return key to skip yet another line to make more blank space between the name/date/source and the first line of the text.

  My God, this HTML business can be a pain in the backside.

  Good Lord this is frustrating. I figured I discovered a good solution to fix those posts which have too little space between the name/date/source and the first line of the article.

  I just went back to posts that I had earlier given up on……. and the newly discovered solution did not work. This is really, really frustrating.
