Used to be able to upload background image; can we still?
-
I’ve had other wordpress blogs before and I’ve been able to upload images to customize the background of my blog and make them “my own”. However, when I tried customizing this new one, I am unable to locate any way to do that now. Also, the theme I chose for my blog either did not activate or my blog looks nothing like the theme I chose. It just appears like a long screen of typing with the selected colors I chose for each block and the photos I uploaded that I was unable to align nicely. Which is another question I had. Is there a way for me to align my images so they look nice on my blog instead of just slopped on like playing cards in a drunken poker game?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
customize the background
The Custom Backgrounds support page says:The majority of our themes at WordPress.com allow you to customize the background of your blog by either uploading an image or selecting a color.
The Calm Business theme isn’t one of those themes that includes this feature.
The homepages of newer WordPress.com themes do not resemble those of the corresponding demos when a new site is created with these themes applied, having virtually none of the content found in the demos. Perhaps WordPress.com staff can explain to you why that’s the case and respond to some of your other questions. I’ve called for staff attention to the topic. Staff will respond here.

Hi there,
It just appears like a long screen of typing with the selected colors I chose for each block and the photos I uploaded that I was unable to align nicely.
Of what site are you speaking? I see nothing like what you describe on http://roreovertonhelloketo.home.blog/
It also appears that you’ve set the front page on that site to draft. Please publish that, and we can take another look.
