Used wrong email address at Premium sign up and cannot activate my account

I signed up for a blog called “startingourdescent.com” but used the wrong email address for activation. I cannot activate my account as it’s been sent to the wrong email address and when I tried to change the email address as I was still logged in, it first sends an acceptance email to the still wrong email address. I would like to get working on my site, but I am unable to get the ball rolling as I cannot log in anymore and activate my account. I have already paid for the premium site and do not want to double pay.

Hi there, What is the correct email address? As long as you write it normally the forum software will redact it from public view, but Staff will still be able to see it.
I have already paid for the premium site and do not want to double pay.
Staff will help you with the activation, but as a WordPressdotcom upgrade plan user you have access to direct support by Staff via the contact form at https://wordpress.com/help/contact when you are logged in to the username account that purchased the upgrade.

I cannot log in to my account (to use the direct support) with even the incorrect email address as the password doesn’t work for some reason, and to recover it, it asked you for the email address you used to create the site in the first place….see my circle here. I’m assuming since it is still waiting for me to activate my account this would be the problem…but cannot activate the account as the email address is wrong.
the email address needs to be (email visible only to moderators and staff) and I typed it in as (email visible only to moderators and staff)…missing the H.

I cannot believe I am unable to get this problem fixed…very disappointed with this site right off the bat. I have lost over a week of possible content and $130.00.

Another option is to begin the account recovery process as explained on this page. https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form
Since you should have a transaction ID from your premium purchase you can enter that information on the account recovery form. Do not post it here in the public forums.

I do not have a transaction ID as it would have been sent to the wrong email address. When I registered my account I mistyped my email address…therefore I have not been able to activate it or change anything.
It has been over a week and I still cannot get this resolved. I would start over, but I purchased the domain already……
