Useing Read More Tag In A Page

    I am trying to work out how to use the read more tag/option in a wordpress page as opposed to a post.

    I have tried the suggestions i have found here but either I am getting it wrong (highly likely) or it just isn’t/doesn’t work any more.

    Any help with this would be much appreciated.
