User accounts – how do they display?

    On one website, I saw user accounts display as ‘author/username.’ Is this done by default? Also, can the directory ‘author’ be changed? I’m looking for something similar, but not entirely sure how to go about doing it. Basically, I want users to be able to customize pages that are domain.com/users/username. I was going to write something myself, but if I could get WP to work I’d prefer that!

    Five bucks says you’ve got a blog hosted elsewhere since you’ve only been here an hour. If you wordpress blog is hosted elsewhere, you need to be over at http://wordpress.org as that’s the site for the support of the software. Our answers would be different, especially in this case since we can’t edit the themes here at wp.com.

    And it’s always recommended that you read a sticky labeled “please read Me First before Posting”
