User Add Issue

  I am trying to add a user. I went to the User area and added the person as an author. He was already a WP member, so it just added him to the list (unlike others who received emails to join and then were added).

  Now, what does he do to post? He says I need to give him a username and password, but he’s already in and I thought it would appear in his Dashboard under “your blogs”.

  What to do? Thanks

  you’re right, it should appear in his dashboard. Make sure he’s using the username that you have added (some people have more than one) and that he’s actually looking for the blog (some people just assume things don’t work without actually trying). If you guys have done this with no luck, i think an email to support [at] wordpress.com might be in order.

  Remember, too, that a WordPress.com identity is NOT the same as a WP.org identity. They are two separate systems.
