  Perhaps I’m making this complicated, but having never done this: I added new user as author, but how does that person make their
  Post? Via their email? Or log onto my website? And if so, how?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Once the person accepts your invitation he or she can log in to their own WordPress.com account to see your blog listed under “My Blogs” and an indication of what user role they have (“author”). He or she can write posts from the dashboard then.
  Here is what you’ll see for your own blogs:
  http://mykittycare.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs
  Your author will see something similar.

  Thanx 4 responding, but my WP is a plugin on my self hosted website, and there is no invitation option, now what?

  We do not provide support for that site as it’s not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. If you need support for that site you are posting to the wrong support forum. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have separate logins. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

  Nice, timethief lady, it’s people lik u who make forums such a waste of time. why even post anything accept you seem to like you need to scold – wp sucks cuz there’s no actual support. Still hav no answer to simple ? Anyone have anything useful for a no user invite option?
