USER DOES NOT EXIST

I had a free website, cherylsola.wordpress.com. I upgraded it to the personal plan with a domain of cherylsola.com. After I did this, I could no longer log in. I got a “User Does Not Exist” message. This was days ago. I found I could not communicate without being logged in, which is impossible when you can’t log in. I posted a message days ago on the forum, as a comment, but received no reply. I am now posting this as an original topic (not a reply) using the login to a free site I still have, hoping to receive an answer.
A yearly fee was collected for the upgraded site. Because of this very poor experience, I want a refund and to have my domain name released, so I can go elsewhere.

The blog I need help with is cherylsola.wordpress.com, aka cherylsola.com, the paid-for site that has apparently been deleted.
