  I didn’t see my website listed in the drop down menu – which is a bit disconcerting. HOWEVER, my question/problem is that I just received an email that says the following:

  New user registration on your site The Cookware Site:

  Username: JitchakuAmison

  E-mail: (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  What does this mean ? Is this person trying to take my website ? How would he have access to my domain ? How do I delete or remove this registration ? It was not authorized and came out of the blue.

  Any help would be GREAT.

  Thank you for responding. My website is: http://www.thecookwaresite.com – and thanks for redacting that email. I was able to log in to the website from wp-admin with my information. So I am at a loss as to what this person did or is doing.

  You have a self-hosted WordPress blog and are in the wrong forum. Please ask your question at http://wordpress.org/support

  You are currently in a forum for blogs hosted by WordPress.com and our answers will not apply to your situation. Thanks and I hope you find a solution to your problem soon.

  P.S. It’s the forum software that redacts email addresses automatically, but I don’t know if the WP.org fourms do it too. Don’t take chances: don’t include an email address on a public forum next time :-)
