User name change has disconnected my followers !

  I have just changed my username ( because it didn’t relict ‘my’ name and may have looked like just another spam hit) and with that my blog web address. BUT in doing so I think I may have disconnected all my invited registered friends !!!
  1. Have I ?

  2. if so what must I do to reconnect them ?
