User name help

  Hi, I used to have a photography blog on wordpress. It had the user name ‘blackwaterimages’ and then i changed over to wix so i deleted the account. Now I’m looking to come back to wordpress and when I go to create my account with my work email address it won’t let me use the name ‘blackwaterimages’ for my user name as it says that it is already in use. when I go to log in with the username them it tells me that the account was deleted. Is there anyway I can get to use it without having to start using numbers instead of vowels etc? I would really appreciate your help.

  Hi Julie –

  Usernames are not recycled. It’s not possible to use “blackwaterimages” as your username again.
