User not showing up on a private site

    I started a “private” site for an accounting project (software conversion), so everyone involved in the process can ask questions and “talk” about the issues. I invited everyone working on this software conversion to join as Author.

    So far, only one person has responded, and WordPress seems to have handled it strangely. Instead of her just showing up as a user once she set up her WP accounts, I got a request from her to join the private blog.

    I approved her request. In fact, I have approved it three times.

    Yet she still does not show up as a user in this blog.

    Help! :-)

    PS: Also, this is a private blog. But it shows that some of the posts have been viewed many times. How is that possible?
