User Posts to Categories

  I am currently trying to sort out an issue with my site where users who are posting via the User Posts plugin are having their posts show up in all categories, rather than the single category they are selected. So for example, a user is submitting their posts to the ‘For Sale’ category, but then their post is also showing up under ‘Blog’, ‘Travel Requests’, etc. So one user posts ends up under all possible categories. I have reached out to the plug in developer who states the error is not due to their plug in. Any advice as to how I can correct this issue? From the back end I am seeing that the single category has been properly selected, but the front end is showing the post in all categories. Thank you, Dan

  It appears that your website uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which is what this forum is designed to help with. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
