  Hi. I am a teacher and someone (I’m guessing is a pupil), has created a username with my surname. They then tried to leave a silly comment on out blog (likely all comments have to be admin approved). What can I do about this? Thanks in advance.

  I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up and they will deal with this by email as opposed to on this public support forum.   Complaints like this one are not dealt with here on the public support forums. Only Terms of Service Staff have authority in such cases and their authority applies to blogs hosted by WordPress.COM, not to any others.

  Court orders: Cases of defamation and impersonation require a court order before we can take action. Official, signed court orders can be emailed to (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  Our role is to direct those who post to the relevant support docs like http://en.wordpress.com/abuse/ and request that Support Staff close the thread, as only Terms of Service Staff have authority in these cases.

  Cases of defamation and impersonation require a court order before we can take action. Official, signed court orders can be emailed to (email visible only to moderators and staff).
