User profile Email Address Issue

  Hi,

  Every time I go to Users -> Your Profile and change the email address it says:

  “There is a pending change of your email to ” [(email redacted)”. Cancel?

  Then nothing happens. No confirmation email is sent. This notification never goes away. There is no explanation as to why it will not change. I cannot figure out how to get it to make the change.

  If anyone has any helpful advice I would really appreciate it.
