User registration and user roles

Hello everyone!
On my website users can register as “Passengers” [subscriber] or can purchase a subscription and become “Operators” [customer].I have 2 problems with this:
1) Passengers can register as Operator with the same email, and I do not want that to happen. If a Passenger wants to become and Operator, he/she has to do so with a different email;
2) When a user purchases a subscription and becomes Operator, in the backend he is both customer [correct] and subscriber [incorrect]. How do I set that they only are customers?Thank you!

Of what site are you speaking?
WordPress.com does not come with subscriber and customer user roles built in, and you don’t have any Business Plan sites in this account that can use plugins to add those user roles.
If you’re speaking of a WordPress site hosted elsewhere, please contact support for the specific plugin you’re using to add these user roles directly.
