User Reporting a Virus Warning

  User is reporting a virus warning when visiting my page. User has sophos web protection. The warning is this:

  High Risk Website Blocked
  location:http://www.russlinton.com
  Access has been blocked as the threat Mal/HTMLGen-A has been found on this website.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Russ,

  As there are no threats of malware on WordPress.com, I believe it is a mistake on Sophos’ part. We found a page on Sophos’ support site that seems to indicate a mis-classification of sites going on for some users.

  If you search Google as well, you’ll see multiple threads regarding Sophos misclassifying sites:

  https://www.google.com/search?q=Mal%2FHTMLGen-A+WordPress.com

  I would highly recommend contacting Sophos to see if you can determine why your site is listed and hopefully get it removed.
