User roles – Contributors' access, ability, privacy
-
Hello,
I have questions regarding User Roles options.1/ I would like to acknowledge contributors by adding them as Users on my blog. However, i would rather not give everyone unfettered access to each-others and the historic log of the Site Stat page (though, it’d be good if they could see the number of clicks to their own posts).
Is there a way to make such (or any) limits to Users access to the Stat??2/I would like “Contributor” Users to have the ability to upload files/images.
3/Is there a way to put two users/authors name on some posts – to indicate joint work?
Please tell me if the above issues can be addresses by using a specific theme or upgrade or any other tool?
Thank you very much.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you read these entries I believe you can answer your own questions >

Also note that there is no upgrade you can purchase that achieves what you ask for ie. varying established contributor access from what’s stated in support documentation on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. -
Some themes display author bylines and some do not. You can switch to a theme that does display a byline. http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/08/15/author-displayed-or-not/ No themes I’m aware of provide for multiple author bylines but nothing prevents one from typing them into the first sentence in any post.
