I have a membership plugin on my site. This allows me to restict access to certain pages for non-members. But I now want to give access to a page that is specific to each member/user using the same link. Is there plugin that allows me to do this?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

Access to any password protected page may be restricted to a single member, and therefore it’s possible to have such a page for each user. Password protection of pages can be achieved without a plugin, as indicated in the Password Protected section of the Control who can see a page or post support page, although instructions on how to accomplish that are not provided there. There is a detailed tutorial in the Go by WordPress.com pages titled How to Password Protect a WordPress Page to Limit Content Visibility, but it was published in July 2018 and the information, illustrations, and instructions provided therein may not be up to date.

As to plugins, I found numerous plugins that appear to be suitable at the WordPress.com Plugins marketplace by using keyword searches such as “password protect” and “password protected pages.”

    Hi @madgwickneil

Since you already have a membership plugin, it’s possible that it already has the feature you’re looking for. Please feel free to reach out to your plugin developer for more guidance.

Also, @musicdoc1 is correct, there’s a built-in password protection available with your page/post settings.

It’s also worth mentioning that your homeschoolsouthafrica.co.za site is self-hosted: https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/http://homeschoolsouthafrica.co.za

I’ll close this thread for now, but please feel free to reach out again if you have questions about WordPress.com.
