I’m getting 100’s email emails that say New user registration on your site the same difference documentary:
Username: [redacted by mod]
Email: (email visible only to moderators and staff)
There users are not registered to me. They have nothing to do with me. I’ve been getting them all morning about 75 of them. Have you allowed someone to hack into my account? Can you please get these users unregistered from my site.

I’ve confirmed that you are the only “user” on the site. There are no followers either. Let’s make sure we are looking at the same site. Please share the site address that you are getting these emails for.

Yes it’s coming from word press all day and saying New user registration. And it won’t stop

Does the email specify which site of yours?

Ok. This is happening because you have the “anyone can register” setting enabled on the site. Go to Settings > General and unclick this option.
You can then delete the unwanted users that have been signing up.
Note, this is not on a WordPress.com hosted site. Further help will need to come from wordpress.org/support/ or through your host. This guide outlines the differences between WordPress.com hosted sites (here) and sites that use the WordPress software: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
